It takes more than a bit of rain to stop the hardy u3a Boules players. Those that gathered on 10th June manged to get a number of games in despite several strategic withdrawals to the coffee shop for shelter as the rain came down. The hot drinks were needed at the end of the session - and to think in the session 2 weeks before we were seeking shade and ice creams.
