The Bookworms book group has been meeting for 15 years and at a book per month we have read quite a few books.

We meet on the first Friday in the Core Cafe in Solihull lIbrary.

We read a book chosen by one of the group and each take a turn at the meeting of giving our views, our likes and dislikes etc.

We then discuss the book in general, and each give a score out of 10 as to how we rate the book.

Belonging to a book group does mean you read books that may be outside your usual genre or comfort zone, and usually this is a very agreeable experience.

We read light literature which is chosen by members of the group. Usually we select enough books to be able to plan quite a few months ahead. This helps those in the group who wish to read ahead.

I think we all find that reading is one of the great enjoyable delights of life. So when all around is confusion 'KEEP CALM AND READ A BOOK'
