The extreme heat didn’t deter the Garden Group from their visit to Hidcote and Kiftsgate Gardens last Tuesday. (Hidcote was closed for the next two days due to the heat.)
We enjoyed the wonderful array of flowers, shrubs, planting schemes and vistas in both venues. The “Kiftsgate Rose” was in full bloom and could be seen rambling over the tall trees in the delightful Kiftsgate Gardens.
We found enough shade and seats when needed but decided to curtail the trip slightly because of the temperatures. Our mini - bus journeys were comfortable and ,overall, it was a successful trip.
