Our Spanish group consists of an active membership of 12 Individuals. Generally we have a good level of Spanish, averaging B2 Upper Intermediate level (defined by CEFR). We meet for 2 hours most weeks on Monday mornings at the Plume of Feathers pub in Shirley. A rota  sets out the leader (el jefe or la jefa) for the group meetings. The leader decides the themes to be incorporated in the meeting agenda, which is sent to members in advance of the meeting. The agenda always includes members news items and ,invariably, aspects of grammar are introduced during the sessions. Our sessions are largely conversational, enjoyable and often interspersed with moments of humour. Currently we believe that we have the optimum membership level, however we do review membership numbers occasionally.
